In June, Brighton Chamber launched a new project called Recruit Ability with local charity Possability People. The aim of the project is to help disabled people find real jobs, helping them to fulfil their potential and enhance the business that employs them.
So far, we’ve had over 30 expressions of interests from local businesses and 6 disabled people have found work through the project.
Read our blog to hear how web development company Madison Solutions have recruited an excellent new member to their team.
We’ll help you find talented, qualified people.
- If you’re hiring, we have a number of job seekers who may be just what you are looking for
- We’ll help you set up a work trial to make sure the person is right for you and you’re right for them
- We’ll help you to apply for Access to Work funding to cover the cost of equipment, software or other support
What’s in it for you?
As well as hiring a talented team that will be a credit to your business, there are a host of other tangible benefits. We’ll help you unlock the potential that employing truly diverse teams can bring, and help you become Disability Confident accredited, setting an example to other employers.
