Skip to main content's Gary Peters Wins Entrepreneur of The Year Award

Gary at the Sussex Business AwardsGary Peters, Founder of ICP Search and, was awarded the title of Entrepreneur of the Year at The Sussex Business Awards last night (Dec 10).

Mr Peters beat off stiff competition from several other Sussex-based businessmen and was presented with the award in recognition of his achievements within the recruitment industry and his contribution to the local community over the past 15 years.

Celebrating business excellence across Sussex, the awards is the longest established scheme of its kind in the county and regarded as the biggest night of the year for business people across the region. The 2014 Awards were held at The Grand in Brighton and attended by some 500 leading business people from Sussex and beyond. Comedian Simon Evans hosted the ceremony.

Speaking after the presentation, Mr Peters said: “It is a genuine honour to receive this award and I really am chuffed to bits! There are so many amazing entrepreneurs in Sussex right now and any one of them could have won this award, so it’s all the more special to win and be recognised.

“2014 has been a great year for us and this award is the icing on the cake. We’ve seen our reach grow substantially, resulting in many more clients, more visitors and more successful job outcomes across Sussex. We’ve also launched our newest jobs board,, as well as two new career websites to help young people access the world of work and make connections with local employers across Sussex.

“However, the real success of is down to my fantastic team who work with real passion, drive and resolve every day to ensure our combined visions turn into reality,” said Mr Peters.
