LoveLocalJobs.com offers four employability microsites designed to help you with career advice and information for the local areas in which we cover. Select from the sites below and enjoy the experience!

 

BEACH

BEACH (Brighton Employability Advice & Careers Hut)

BEACH “Brighton Employability Advice and Careers Hut”, has been designed for young people by young people in Brighton and Hove. It is the result of a series of partnership activities involving BrightonandHoveJobs.com, the city council, employers and year 10 students from the city’s secondary schools. Take OFFTake OFF (Our Future First): Employability advice in the Gatwick Diamond

Take OFF is the employability microsite for young people living in the West Sussex part of the Gatwick Diamond, which was created through a partnership between neighbouring Local Authorities of Horsham District, Crawley Borough and Mid Sussex District Councils, West Sussex County Council and The Gatwick Diamond Initiative. 

The students who helped design the website are from local secondary schools and a sixth form college. Put your future first and visit Take OFF now!

 

WOW: World of Work"World of Work" (WOW)

"World of Work" (WOW) is a website developed through a collaboration with local school students and support and guidance from GatwickDiamondJobs.com, along with employers and local authorities in East Surrey.

WOW offers advice on how to look for and apply for jobs, how to deliver the perfect interview and an insight into what employers expect from young people joining their business. Key resources include interviews with local hiring managers and business people with knowledge of the local job markets. Start your journey into the World of Work here!

 

Pathway

Pathway; Steps to Success

Pathway 'Steps to Success' is the local careers advice website for the West Sussex area. This employability microsite is a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Jobs and neighbouring Local Authorities of Adur & Worthing and Chichester District, West Sussex County Council and the Coastal West Sussex Partnership. 17 students from 6 local schools formed the project group that created Pathway ‘Steps to Success’. 

Pathway has also been strongly supported by staff and students from our Strategic Partners Northbrook College, Chichester College and the University of Chichester. Worthing College were also involved in the creation of video content. Start your Steps to Success here!
