The Search is on for the Sussex Graduate of the Year

A brand new category has been added to this year’s Sussex Business Awards – the Sussex Graduate of the Year

Brighton BusinessSponsored by the University of Sussex, this new category will recognise the achievements of someone who has a graduated from the University in the past three years and who has made an impact on a Sussex business. 

Andrea Wall, Employer Engagement manager at the Careers and Employability Centre at the University of Sussex commented

“The University of Sussex works closely with Sussex employers to build the talent pipeline for our highly skilled graduates to contribute to the economic development of the region. 

“By making it easy for employers to engage with our students and academic schools, we hope to build on these successful relationships and create new contacts.  Through our work, we can help raise the profile of businesses to the University community on campus and at our new Croydon business hub.”

The judges will be looking for evidence of professional motivation, communication skills, practical skills, resilience, leadership, maturity and integrity.

The University joins a prestigious sponsor line up of some of the best known names in the county including Mazars, Morgan Sindall, HSBC, Southern Railway, Vantage Professional Risks,, Sussex Innovation Centre,, Wealden District Council, Sussex Chamber of Commerce, Nature’s Way Food, Coffin Mew, The Argus, Heart FM and Title Sussex.
