Based in the centre of Brighton, The Young People’s Centre aims to provide a centre that is an accessible and safe place for young people to meet. The YPC's vision is to provide an inspirational Centre for vulnerable and marginalised young people that supports and empowers them to make positive changes to their lives and make informed life choices. It provides a range of support including advice and information drop-ins, youth work, counselling and sexual health services, IT access and support, a range of positive activities and education, training and employment support. The activities develop young people’s ability to allow them to live independent, healthy lives, increase life chances, self-esteem and confidence, develop social skills and increase chances of gaining employment and qualifications. We have a cafe that provides affordable meals for 30p and gives opportunities for young people who live isolated lives to eat socially with others.
