Based at St Barnabas House

Do you have the passion, drive and commitment to be part of a successful and dedicated hospice fundraising team?

We are looking for a really special person to look after donors giving in-memory of loved ones and to develop legacy giving for both St Barnabas House adult hospice and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

This is a new post with responsibility for shaping and delivering giving programmes, developing relationships with supporters and inspiring more people to support the hospices, including gifts in Wills.  As well as providing a personal point of contact for supporters, you will be working across the fundraising team, as well as with clinical staff and our Family Services team.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education and at least three years’ experience of working in a customer-focused role (for example, fundraising, sales/marketing or business development).  Sensitive and diplomatic, you must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and influence people.

Good organisational skills are essential to meet competing demands and deliver on priorities as well as handling sudden pressures.  You will take responsibility for a key area of our work, be able to think on your feet and work autonomously in sensitive situations.

If you can inspire, support and motivate people to support the hospices, we would like to hear from you.

Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
