PROJECT MANAGER - CRAWLEY - CONNECTED FM - 18 MONTH FTC An experienced Project Manager is urgently required to join a prestigious client based in Crawley, to focus on a transformation programme of work to deliver cutting edge mobile technologies across the enterprise. The successful Project Manager will be a key player in the success of the transformation programme, an exciting opportunity to deliver transformational change to the way the business is run, and how services are delivered. You will ensure the predictable, consistent and successful delivery of projects to time, quality and cost metrics, and play a key role in the overall success of the programme. You will plan, coordinate and monitor your projects as directed by the Head of Programmes and Project but you will be self-directed, proactive, and innovative in the management of your own workload and the identification of risk. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, manage and document projects to successful delivery and satisfaction of your stakeholders and the PMO. Be responsible for the governance, reporting and identification of risks associated with projects Work with the Head of Programmes and Projects and wider Technology team to ensure the overall success and satisfaction of the technology services. Define the scope of the project and ensure the business case is clear and deliverable Plan and manage the delivery of projects to a timeline with milestones Build, maintain and manage RAID's logs (Risk, assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions Work with Head of Programmes and Projects to define the pipeline for your area Ensure that projects are impact assessed and approved by operations Liaise with the operations team in the delivery of projects, identify and address risks Contribute to the overall risk management process and identify risks specific to projects Key Requirements: At least 5 years' project management experience Strong technical knowledge - experience managing projects overseeing technology deployments across an enterprise, ideally including mobile devices Detailed, structured and proactive PM who has experience of making a positive impact in a "chaotic" situation and help re-vitalise technology. Specifically someone who has led transformational change across a large c30,000 UK user / enterprise size base Experience of working within automation change alongside BA's Experienced managing budgets up to £1.5m Prince 2 desirable - more important solid experience - competency Experience of implementing relevant FM industry processes essential Experience of implementing connected internet of things and big data projects desirable Project Management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects preferably within a multi-project programme Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite, MS Project Strong academic background Hold an industry recognised project management qualification such as Prince2 Able to demonstrate basic understanding of the deployed technologies across the enterprise and of multiple system platforms Demonstrable strong written, presentation, communication and negotiation skills and can articulate complex solutions Experience in driving projects within an organization This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key figure in an exciting enterprise transformation project.
