At Pier Recruitment, we are always recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated temporary staff to join our excellent bank of candidates. We have a number of key clients in Sussex who take on temporary staff from us to cover sickness, holidays or to assist with extra workload. Many of our permanent roles now also begin as temporary and are a great way to get your foot in the door.

We ideally look for individuals with strong experience as a lot of temporary roles require you to hit the ground running, often with minimal training. The roles we get are very varied and we ask that you only apply if you are flexible, committed and highly adaptable to different working environments. We need to know that if our client calls us at 8am looking for a Receptionist, that we have a suitable candidate to go in immediately.

This work would ideally suit individuals who do not necessarily need full time work, people who are looking for full time work and would like some ad-hoc temporary work in the meantime or people who are not quite sure of the career path they want to take yet. It is also a great way to trial a role and company before you take a permanent poisition.

We do not recommend leaving permanent and secure employment to register as a temporary staff member. Pay rates will vary but usually range between £7.20 and £11 per hour. We offer benefits such as holiday pay, perkbox membership and a professional and efficient service for all of our candidates.
