Middleweight Graphic Designer / Artworker
This is a great opportunity to work for an established / market leading Partitioning Manufacturer. As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for managing all key elements of the brand and technical output, most importantly delivering all new technical documents / brochures / case study photography and any additional support required by the marketing department. The role is currently supported by an in house temp graphic designer and external design agency however part of this exciting role is the opportunity to manage the transition of moving all aspects of the design in house. Responsibilities: - Brand guardianship, ensuring quality and consistency of all content design. - Developing and communicating brand concepts to internal and external stakeholders. - Co-coordinating and directing all project case study photo shoots to further develop strong brand imagery. - Managing the design and pagination of two seasonal product brochures / price guides per year. - Managing the design and pagination of all technical product documentation. - Identifying and improving key processes to ensure team efficiency and timely content delivery. - Managing the technical content on the website as requested by the Technical Manager. - Managing ongoing design requests required by the Marketing Director. Personal Skills Required: - An understanding/passion for commercial interiors and product manufacturing, with a willingness to learn all technical aspects of our product portfolio. - Ability to take professional photos of interiors / architectural along with close up photography as required. - Ideal if working knowledge of word press or website development but not essential. - Excellent Project management skills. - Ability to work independent and as a team. - Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills. - Good organisational skills including the use of cloud based project management tools such as Asana. - Ability to be self-sufficient when working on projects once initial design brief has been identified. - Excellent attention to detail. - Hardworking and dedicated to self-progression within the business. Graphic / Software skills: - Adobe Photoshop (essential) - Adobe Illustrator (essential) - Adobe indesign (essential) - Layout / typology / logo design (essential) - 2D / 3D Cad (desired) - Computer rendering (desired) - Video editing / animation (desired) - Website design (desired) The candidate will be working closely with the Technical Manager and the Marketing Director, so the ability to work on multiple projects is essential. Candidates will only be selected for an interview with a supporting professional portfolio highlighting the relevant body of work.
