We are seeking an Apprentice chef for our established outside catering company. The successful candidate will be using fresh local ingredients and learning to cook a variety of dishes and menus, from fine dining, to casual hog roasts. This will include preparing meat and game, preparing fresh fruit and vegetables, assisting with the managing of stock levels, preparing desserts - all under the guidance of the head chef.
The candidate will learn all aspects of food preparation and the workings of the kitchen. They will also be able to transfer between working in our Unit and on site at functions. All health and safely procedures must be learnt and adhered to with regards to food prep, equipment and storage areas, emergency and first aid procedures.
