My client is a top UK employer based in Burgess Hill. They have won awards for their staff retention and friendly environment. This is a global company with an exceptional reputation within their market.

They are looking for a new Service Resource Scheduling Specialist to join their team of 5 specialists due to a maternity cover. This role will be for approximately 8 months.
This role is to support the sales and customer services team by ensuring all personal and resources are allocated correctly within the field. This in turn will enable the business to meet agreed customer service levels in NHS and private laboratories across the UK and Ireland.

You will be responsible for creating and managing daily successful deployment plans detailing all the associated pre- and post-sales activities relating to installation, site surveys, corrective/ preventative visits and service upgrades for your assigned workload. Together with your team colleagues you will aim to achieve overall optimal resource deployment and manage customer expectations accordingly. In addition to this, you will order and monitor spare parts availability within SAP. Whilst ensuring that all deadlines are met, you will produce deployment progress reports on a regular basis.

When working in this team you will work on a shift pattern covering the deployment activities from 7am until 7pm (7.5 working hours Monday to Friday with one hour per day unpaid lunch break).

The successful candidate will have experience in scheduling/planning, preferably from technical background. A good understanding of Microsoft Excel would be an advantage.
You ned to be used to working in a fast paced environment where changes are made regularly. It would help if you had knowledge of using different CRM system but full training will be given. Systems used by my client are: SAP, ERP and Rexis for Service.

I need you to be organised, practical, logical, unflappable, assertive, with a good telephone manner.

You must have GCSE or equivalent (English and Maths - A to C)

Key skills are:

A logical problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct optimal resource planning and mitigation of deployment risks
Very high attention to detail with excellent organisation skills and a calm approach to all situations
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
Good commercial awareness
Strong knowledge of UK and Irish
