Main responsibilities: To assume responsibility for the day to day financial administration of the GAL account, including but not limited to, monitoring working levels, job completion, billing and chasing for outstanding invoices, whilst liaising with all personnel on site, Key Tasks: To build a detailed working knowledge of the site/account. Providing commercial finance support Ensuring billing information is correct Ensuring all costs are accurately assigned to jobs Tracking and analysing costs on a weekly, and monthly basis Ensuring that Management Information (MI) is kept up to date and accurate Monitoring and reporting on project completion levels Working with GAL staff to ensure that invoice queries are resolved Producing accurate monthly revenue forecasts Reporting on profitability Invoicing the client in a timely manner, including production of the invoices of sage Knowledge and Skills: Financial qualification or 5 years’ experience in a similar role Strong analytical skills and financial accounting experience Experience of managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines Flexible approach to working hours; ability to work overtime as and when the business needs dictate Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and external clients IT Literate, proficient MS Word, PowerPoint; specifically, excellent Excel skills Team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail. Self-motivated and proactive, able to work on own initiative. A minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade C and above including a minimum B grade in Maths.
