Hours:           1.0 FTE (37 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced, qualified and occupationally competent Lecturer to effectively deliver outstanding education and training across our vocational provision at Levels 1-3 in Business.

Working with students aged from 16 – 19 + you will have a hands on role developing a curriculum to suit the students’ needs and ensuring the competence of the next generation of skilled business professionals. You should have a good understanding of the needs and issues of young people and be able to communicate effectively with them.

You need to be qualified to a minimum of NVQ 3 / National Diploma or equivalent level, with experience of teaching on business courses. The curriculum includes the following subjects; Business Communications, Employment Law, Accountancy, Market Research and Project Management also Computing/IT and Travel & Tourism and you should be able to deliver in some or all of these areas.

You also need to hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to attain a teaching qualification within 2 years (AET, PGCE/CertEd).  We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can stimulate, inspire and support students at all levels to achieve.
