Job Title: Technical Department Co-ordinator Location: Crawley Salary: Competitive A top-brand company in the Crawley area is looking for an experienced, confident Technical Department Co-ordinator to proactively maintain the administration of the Software & Systems Department and provide high-quality telephone support for Service Desk when required, involving call logging and management of customer queries. Job Role: You will be an integral part of the team responsible for co-ordinating equipment processes (new equipment orders, repairs and loan equipment) as well as fully managing the coordination of equipment of calibrations services, to include, performing forecasting work, contacting customers with calibration reminders, checking stock levels, quote generation and order processing. You will also support the team with the administration requirements of field engineers and the Service Desk and supporting the Software & Systems Manager and Project Manager in departmental administration and reporting. The Candidate: - Full training will be provided but previous technical support experience is essential. - You will have excellent call handling experience and good, clear interpersonal communication skills with fast and accurate IT & numeracy skills (MS Office experience essential). - You should be highly organised in time and task management, have a proven track record of customer management, solid administration performance and delivery as well as the ability to build good customer relationships.
