Support / Care Worker and Senior Support Worker
VACANCY: SUPPORT WORKERS & SENIOR SUPPORT WORKERS Bevern View, Barcombe, near Lewes, BN8 5FJ 35 hours per week (to include 1 in 3 weekends off) Salary £15,786 - £17,338 We are looking for great carers like you to join our friendly team at a growing charity, passionate about helping to improve the lives of people with profound disabilities. Home cooked lunch and dinner provided daily The role: Supporting residents with personal care throughout the day Assisting residents with their physiotherapy and hydrotherapy routine Helping residents to participate fully in their lives including going out on trips and other activities We offer excellent training as part of your development Support Workers qualified or trained in key working, senior support, dispensing and administration of medication will start on a higher grade. Our home: Bevern View is purpose-built home in the heart of the Sussex countryside in Barcombe and is dedicated to providing an active fulfilling life for our residents. With 11 beds for 9 permanent and 2 respite residents, all of whom have a series of highly complex needs. We have an on site hydrotherapy pool which helps to enhance our residents' mobility & general health. We also have a specialist multi-sensory room, which is therapeutic and enhances the residents' senses and communication through touch, sight, sound and smell.
