Theyoffer unparalleled expertise in shared systems and networking-integrating the entire airport enterprise for check-in and boarding, baggage handling, passenger self-service check-in and other important functions. As the benchmark for common-use passenger technologies, they help airports reduce costs, improve service, and strengthen security. They are looking to expand their Software Development team with the addition of a new Software Developer. Essential Technical Skills ·Experience with a PHP Framework (eg, Symfony, Zend, Silex, MVC) ·Excellent Object-Orientated PHP skills and knowledge of design patterns ·Using 3rd Party web services (eg, API, Ajax, REST) ·Unit Testing (eg, PHPUnit) ·HTML, CSS and Javascript ·Requirements analysis and technical documentation ·Interested in emerging software and web technologies. Desirable Skills ·Database design, SQL querying. ·Scripting Language (python, perl, ruby etc) ·Symfony / Silex / Doctrine ·Puppet / Ansible / Vagrant ·TDD (phpUnit, PHPSpec, Behat) ·Version control (eg. git, svn) ·Internationalization (I18n) and Localization (L10n) ·Understanding of Linux systems (LAMP) Day to day responsibilities will include the following: ·Production, modification and maintenance of software and systems. ·All stages of the software development life-cycle, planning, implementation, testing, documenting, deployment and maintenance. ·Building web application back end systems including REST and RPC API's, database services and payment processing. ·Working closely with the front end developer and team members. ·Produce high quality, testable code and unit tests. Qualifications and Experience: ·Preferably a bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as computer science or engineering. ·Minimum of four years commercial development experience.
