Financial Analyst - Leisure Retail Sector - High Growth Business

The company is a highly regarded, multi-site retailer with a reputation for delivering outstanding products backed with industry leading after sales customer service. The business has grown significantly over the last decade to become one of the leading players in this niche and exciting market. As Financial Analyst, your primary role is to support the retail team in making the best possible decisions for their store network based on analysis in relation to store targets, planning, payroll and key KPI's. This role will be key in both daily, weekly and monthly reviews of store performance as well as annual budget planning and will be a source of information and advice for the retail team. Key responsibilities: Create, maintain and regularly produce reports for agreed retail key performance indicatorsDevelop and complete all annual and mid-year forecasting on behalf of the retail Team.Collate weekly trading feedback, Store order book figures and sales figures.Collate and distribute the weekly trading packs and workshop reporting.Follow up on reporting outputs (NPS, shrinkage, discounting).Review all store spends and recommend improvementsConduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunitiesReview and recommend ways to operate for efficientlySupport Retail Director on key retail analysis for budget planning and key initiatives Candidates will probably be part qualified and continuing their studies. Ideally you will have come from a retail business or at the very least a multi-site operational environment. A proven track record in financial modelling and strong analytical skills with a commercial bias and an excellent grasp of business drivers will stand you in good stead in what will be a competitive selection process. You will also possess an ability to impact and influence your peers as well as senior members within the business and be able to manage changes in a fast-paced business environment. You should be commercially minded and passionate about using financials to drive the business with an eye for detail whilst understanding and appreciating the bigger picture. You will have an autonomous approach to your work and have a tangible opportunity to make a positive impact on the operational business itself.
