School Administration Manager

Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb
Salary: £33,943 to £40,523 per annum
Your knowledge and experience of administration management in a large, complex organisation will be key to your success in this pivotal role in our school, where you will lead and manage a core professional services team ensuring the needs of the School, University and students are met.
As a member of the School Management Group, you will actively engage with the strategic planning and decision making processes, contributing effectively to the maintenance of core operations, identifying developments and supporting their implementation. Working closely with the Head of School, you will also support in the planning, completion and monitoring of the budget, and overseeing financial systems in order to maintain financial sustainability.
To succeed in the role, you will be experienced in people management and team working, and in influencing across an organisation to achieve operational and strategic objectives. Experience of financial/budget management is also essential, as is the ability to meet conflicting demands in a challenging environment. With highly developed problem solving skills and the ability to assess the impact of changes across a broad range of related systems and processes, you will be expected to operate in a highly professional manner and maintain effective relationships across the University.
