Helpdesk Customer Service
We are working with a technology business based in Horsham who are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join their team. You will be providing both internal and external technical support. The role of a Helpdesk Customer Service is to provide first line support assisting clients with software problems via the phone and email. You will be liaising with clients, providing support and assistance over the phone, and occasionally in person. They offer fantastic training opportunities and there is room for progression and growth for the right person within this rapidly expanding technology business. Duties to include: Logging customer calls in a clear, concise and professional manner, ensuring all the necessary details are accurately captured. Progressing 1st line calls, keeping customers updated, according to the commitments in the customers' SLA. Performing 1st line technical diagnostics and fixes of customer fault tickets against processes and knowledge base. Escalating customer incident tickets to technical support where necessary. Ensuring that access to systems are carried out in line with current security policies. Ensuring that any potential breaches identified are reported. The successful candidate will have: Customer service at the core of your ability A good technical knowledge of Windows XP, Vista and 7. Desirable: Active Directory Microsoft Office Remote Control Software i.e. VNC, Team Viewer, LogmeIn Excellent telephone manner. Strong analytical/problem solving abilities, especially in relation to continual service improvement.
