Following a period of sustained growth Southdown is looking to appoint to a new position as part of the senior leadership team within its' Community Support Services Division. This role will act as the organisation's lead specialist for mental health and wellbeing support, holding responsibility for the operational management and strategic development of services to over 3,000 clients across Sussex. A key focus over coming years will be involvement in shaping and transforming support models in line with the wider integration of health and adult social care, and the increasing transfer of support from clinical to community settings. You should have: Comprehensive and current knowledge of good practice models in the delivery of community based mental health services including personality disorder and crisis intervention support Experience of working at a senior level with commissioners, including helping tender for contracts A proven reputation as a respected, authentic and approachable leader, able to integrate the interests of commissioners, clients and staff into decision making and planning Experience of working alongside clients to design, develop and audit services A track record of achievement within a high pressured, results orientated role Closing date: Sunday 8 October 2017.
