My client is a specialist retail / Commercial fit out contractor who boast clients such as Hawksmoor, Nando's and Wahaca to name but a few. They operate across many sectors within the Fit Out and Refurbishment market and can offer a wide range of variety for an established Project / Contracts Manager. About the Role: My client are currently looking for an established Project / Contracts Manager. The projects will be in London and across the UK but the role will be predominantly based out of the office in East Sussex. Your role will include; Reporting to the Contracts Director this is a key position for an achiever who is experienced in “start to finish" of project schemes. You will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of high specification projects for key clients throughout London. You will be involved with the projects from start on site to handover and will be required to interact closely with the client at all stages of the construction process. Ensure Contracts achieve the targeted margin, are completed on time, and all site activity complies with the Companies policies and safety practices. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standard of work across all sites. Provide leadership, management and development, ensuring that all Site Managers and Forepersons manage day-to-day operations efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for reporting to the management team on the performance of the production function against agreed targets and objectives. The role will involve insuring Health & Safety is maintained with audits, safety plans, compliance to policies, relevant training to subcontractors and employees, accident reports, etc. You will be responsible for operation manuals, programmes, project coordination and contract files.
