Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb
Salary: £34,520 to £41,212 per annum
The university’s Quality and Standards division sits within Academic Services providing leadership, advice and guidance and support to the university and its schools in developing and implementing the university’s Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) framework. The management team, led by the Senior Assistant Registrar (QAE), has two vacancies providing opportunities to help shape the delivery of the service as the QAE landscape changes nationally and institutionally.
As Quality and Standards Manager you will be responsible for the university’s academic regulations and assessment policy ensuring these meet the needs of the university and operate in accordance with sector norms. Considerable knowledge and experience of developing and implementing quality assurance practices, academic policy and regulatory frameworks in higher education is therefore essential.
Leading a small team, within a wider department, you will provide advice and guidance across the university at all levels, so must be able to communicate complex information accurately and sensitively.
