Events & Projects Coordinator

Experience of helping to deliver live events, digital & video projects, event management or event logistics would be extremely beneficial.                                           

This is a full time position, offering a varied role supporting a number of Senior Account and Project Managers in the technical delivery of live event projects and digital projects. You’ll be responsible for delivering to tight schedules while maintaining high standards of quality for customer satisfaction.

YOU WILL:

  • Take and field enquires
  • Arrange deliveries, transport, internal travel & accommodation, site surveys
  • Implement event/project delivery including sourcing & booking of both internal & external resources
  • Produce documents including  job sheets, risk assessments, invoices & purchase orders
  • Receive and collate show content & project assets
  • Negotiate contracted service rates with suppliers and freelancers
  • Assist with quality checking of content & digital projects
  • Input into weekly scheduling meetings & manage team & cross company diaries
  • Produce budget estimates & proposals in conjunction with Account / Project Managers & the Technical Team
  • Configuration and population of in-house Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Update and document best practices for future projects
  • Occasional travel and weekend work

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong project management and logistics skills - delivery on time and within budget
  • Customer focused and ability to build good internal and external relationships
  • Highly IT literate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication & negotiation ability
  • Multi-tasker
  • Good problem solving ability, creativity, drive and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work on own initiative and equally able to work as part of a team
  • Some experience of procurement and supplier management
  • Keen interest in emerging technologies
