Key Responsibilities 

  • Managing property maintenance issues
  • Liaising with tradespeople
  • Managing relationships with landlords and tenants

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day repairs
  • Handle basic rent queries
  • Familiarising yourself with and carefully adhering to landlords’ management requirements
  • Dealing promptly and courteously with communications from landlords and tenants
  • Liaising with utility companies, letting offices and client accounts departments to ensure appropriate charges are made while keeping records up-to-date
  • Answer telephone calls and deal with enquiry, direct the call as necessary or take a message
  • Arrange viewings and manage the diary
  • To carry out viewings
  • To assist the sales team if required

Personal specification/Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year’s lettings experience
  • IT literate
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with landlord and tenants
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and procedures
  • be able to effectively manage and prioritise workloads
  • Work under time pressure and be able to solve problems
  • be able to provide good customer service
  • be able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Driving License preferable but not essential
