A highly regarded E-commerce business In the Brighton area are seeking a talented Digital Performance Analyst with min 2 years experience in a new role within the marketing team in order to help grow the business through a data-first approach.
The Digital Performance Analyst or Digital Analyst or Web Analyst or MarketingAnalyst will be responsible for building actionable insights (through Google Analytics, GA, GAIQ) that can inform marketing channel efficiency and eCommerce strategies. Working closely with the eCommerce, Marketing and Commercial teams the Digital Performance Analyst will provide recommendations to key stakeholders on business KPIs, marketing channel performance markers and customer journey progression via constant analysis.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
Ongoing acquisition, processing and interrogation of analytic data to inform business goals
Report on the performance of all digital marketing channels PPC, Display, SEO & Affiliates
Provide support to Head of Performance in producing accurate forecasts
Produce weekly and monthly digital and multi sales channel performance analysis - looking at KPI's such as traffic trends, conversion goals and drop off points, providing key insight that improves performance
Work closely with the management information team to ensure integrity of reporting and support the creation of automated reports for the business
Identify and manage tracking of all goals and conversion metrics through optimum setup and management of analytics tools
Take ownership of Analytics tools to ensure best practice set up and data integrity, provide guidance to other users where required
Skills:
·Strong numerical and analytical skills
·Experience working client side or within a digital agency
·Ability to confidently visualise and present insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
·Experience analysing the performance of the website using multiple tools and platforms
·A good understanding of varying marketing channels and how to measure and analyse performance
·High level proficiency in Google Analytics, Ideally GAIQ qualified.
·Exceptional Excel skills with good understanding of data visualisation techniques
·Well organised and highly motivated with an ability to display drive, ambition and ownership of workload
