A Lead Business Analyst is required to provide an accomplished and senior level of Business Analysis expertise and to coach and mentor colleagues.

The LBA will also develop, motivate and lead a high performing team that provides expert support in development of tactical and strategic solutions and improvements to the whole of the organisation.

Description

  • To recommend and develop scaled solutions to proposed improvements which are in line with corporate priorities and regulatory objectives.
  • To lead on investigations, definition and implementation of improvements, ensuring successful delivery of solutions against business requirements (using LEAN and other techniques) - this may include business case development, requirement elicitation, process definition, testing, report definition and implementation activities.
  • To manage business analysis capacity to ensure it's at the required levels needed to achieve deliverables to the required standards and required timescales.
  • Assess the impact of small, and large changes across the organisation.
  • Manage a strong relationship across the organisation, providing both business and technical support.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sole ownership of the organisation's process modelling standards with external and internal parties.

Profile

  • Strong experience in business analysis at a senior level - both in organisational design, operating model and IT systems, including making risk based decisions.
  • Strong practical background in delivering change across a range of change and IT projects, demonstrating successful use of Waterfall and Agile approaches and project management principles (Prince2, ITIL, etc.)
  • Extensive experience drafting regulatory processes and guidance and solutions analysis workshops.
  • Experienced user of BA tools - business process and requirement gathering tools, LEAN techniques, Kaizen, BSC, Six Sigma.
  • Experience in dealing with 3rd party suppliers during design and concept, development, testing and transition phases.
