Property Co-ordinator - 4 days per week
My client is looking for a Property Co-ordinator to join their team, working Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5.30pm.
Set in a rural location just outside of Horsham, you will need your own transport to access the office.
You will be required to visit Developments managed by the client to ensure all areas are being maintained to the levels specified under the relevant contract, i.e., gardens, communal cleaning, window cleaning, etc.
Provide written reports upon return to the office.
Take the appropriate action, i.e., discuss problems with contractors, arrange for any damaged items to be repaired, untidy areas to be tidied, light bulbs to be replaced, etc.
Contacting Shareholders/Members with regard to specific problems caused by them, i.e., leaking overflow pipes, storing items in communal areas, etc.
Ensuring the general safety/wellbeing of the property, to comply with insurance criteria.
All associated writing of letters, orders, etc., and administration of same.
Undertaking organisation of specific projects, such as external and internal decorations. Seeking willing contractors, providing specification, obtaining tenders, issuing details to the Boards of Directors, legal Notices and finally, monitoring the progress of such contracts.
General administration/secretarial duties in order to provide back up for other office staff during busy periods, holidays, sickness, etc.
Other general duties as specified by the Managing Director.
The perfect candidate will ideally have the following skills / experience: -
Previous experience within property management or lettings
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
