Salary: £15,472 starting salary
Residential Support Workers are responsible for supporting our learners during social and academic learning activities both in the residential houses and whilst out in the community, ensuring appropriate records are maintained and full shift handovers are carried out.
The successful candidate will establish supportive relationships with our residents and encourage the development of stable relationships between residents and other staff, their families and friends and within the group of residents.
You will promote the emotional health and self-esteem of the residents and support them through changes in living circumstances and personal relationships.
You will also support the residents in making their own choices and decisions to the maximum of their capability, and ensure that the needs and wishes of residents are fully considered in any decision relating to them.
You will all ensure that appropriate records are accurately maintained and work in partnership with your colleagues to ensure that full shift handovers are carried out.
