My Client is a Market-leader within the Civil Engineering industry specialising in large infrastructure projects nationwide and with continued growth are looking for a Civils Planner to join their Southern Commercial Division. Working exclusively on a prestigious £10m framework delivering; earthworks, surfacing, roadworks and sub/structures packages, candidates will be reporting into the Commercial Manager and responsible for:

Liaising with Client and Commercial Team to identify programme risks and produce mitigation plans.
Creating tender documents, construction methodologies, work sequences and contract programmes.
Producing external and internal Monthly Progress reports.
Consulting with Construction Teams on short-term working programmes.
Reviewing contract documents, specifications, scope and test schedules.
Planning Project works and identify resourcing requirements.
Monitoring progress and productivity.
Conducting meetings with Design Teams, Subcontractors and Supply Chain.
Offering time/cost savings to improve programme and reduce Project completion date.
Mentoring Junior Planners through KPI-lead systems.
Providing exceptional communication (both verbal and written) to all levels of Staff.
Manage reporting process through accurate records and documentation.

Successful candidates will possess a BSc degree in Construction-related subject (or equivalent), extensive Civil Engineering background with a
Main Contractor and Aviation experience. A thorough knowledge of NEC3 Forms of Contract and proficiency of Microsoft Project software, Asta software and Primerva software are essential.
