Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead Automotive

Role Description:
You will be working as part of our clients Software Development Team, within ADAS, working in cooperation with their algorithm development team, supporting optimisation of algorithms on an embedded platform. You will participate in software design and architecture and in peer software code reviews.
Candidate Overview;
You must be able to lead a technical department having a minimum of two years leadership experience and set an example of excellence and be willing to mentor less experienced team members. You must take responsibility for the implementation and the quality of your software component. You will be required to report on status to management and contribute to short and long term planning of development, highlighting any risks / issues. You must be confident interacting with client teams and OEMs when required. Be able to use your initiative and have the determination to succeed.
Experience Required;
* Experienced C/C++ development/programming
* Embedded Linux and Multicore development experience
* TI DSP and ARM programming/optimisation
* Embedded S/W development (ICE, JTAG etc)
* Ideally automotive Software development experience
* Experience working with version control systems
* Embedded software implementation
* Experience working with version control systems
* Requirement Analysis/System Design
* Software Optimisation
* Multicore Development Experience
Experience Preferred;
* Knowledge of RTOS, memory management and HW bringup
* Assembler programming
* Electronics hardware knowledge
* Makefile Systems
* Linux
Qualifications;
* Degree level (or equivalent) Computer Science, Electronics, Maths or Physics
* Fluent English language skills, German an advantage but not essential
