Job Title: Team Support

CoolStays.com showcases unique and unusual places to stay across the UK, Europe and worldwide. We now have a growing portfolio of over 1000 hand-picked, extraordinary places to stay. Each offering something truly quirky, noteworthy or stylish.

We showcase the coolest cottages, villas, B&Bs and boutique hotels. Whilst also featuring glamping options such as yurts and shepherds huts, luxury tree houses and cool conversions such as windmills and lighthouses.

CoolStays has a small, hard-working, passionate team and we’re looking for a Team Support person to help propel us to the next level and beyond.

Job Responsibilities:

This would be an all-round team support role reporting to the Management team, with the main functions being:

  • Working alongside the Web Content Editor and Property Managers, assisting with Property Owner support. Typical activities include: copy updates, photo uploading and editing, checking pricing and availability feeds, checking and approving special offer information.
  • Responding to Owner support tickets on our helpdesk system.
  • Other project based work and support to the Management team to assist with business development.
  • Responding to website visitor helpdesk tickets as required.
  • Adding and editing content on our social media schedule.

What skills are we looking for?

Essential - All candidates must have....

  • Customer service experience, specifically supporting sales or account managers
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Amazing attention to detail and administrational skills.
  • A keen eye for visual imagery and style
  • Excellent computer literacy - solid grounding in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc) and Google’s office suite (Sheets, Docs, etc)
  • Social media savviness.
  • Experience using web content management systems
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • A positive attitude, willing to “muck in” and do general admin as required.

Desirable - The ideal candidate will also have...

  • Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector, the various online travel companies in our field and various booking platforms such as Airbnb, Homeaway, and booking.com
  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems and Helpdesk systems
  • Website content management system experience
  • Experience using social media marketing systems (Facebook/Instagram ads, Buffer, BuzzSumo, etc)

Specifics:

Hours: This could be a part time or full time role. Hours can be flexible, ideally the majority within core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri.

We would require a minimum of 22.5 hours (3 days) per week.

Location: This is a homeworking role with regular meetings in Brighton.

Pay: Equivalent to £17,000 - £19,500 per annum full time (depending on experience), prorated for part time hours if required.
