THE ROLE: One the busiest and most successful branch networks within the UK, with decades of successful trading, are looking for their next superstar Assistant Branch Manager to help manage a pivotal branch within the network.

Within this Assistant Branch Manager role you will be both assisting the branch manager but also taking direct responsibility for the internal sales team. Leading by example, your mission will be to help grow sales within an extremely competitive environment.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Assisting the Branch Manager within the day to day running of the branch.
* Directly managing the sales office, motivating, inspiring and leading by example.
* Creating, hitting and smashing targets.
* Dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone.
* In charge of the branch in the manager’s absence.

This role would suit a variety of backgrounds as automotive industry experience is useful but not essential. To succeed in this role however, you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and sales ability, with the managerial skills required to be able to lead a team with the ultimate objective of growing sales and business.

* People management experience – Essential.

* Parts experience - Essential.

* Sales experienced – Essential.

* Confident with dealing with customers over the telephone and face-to-face – Essential.
