This is a post for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our expanding and dynamic Medicines Management Team.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will be registered with the GPhC and have a minimum of two years' experience as a pharmacy technician. You will be an accredited checking technician, have a medicines management accreditation or be willing to work towards these, plus have experience working directly with patients and a range of healthcare professionals. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven team working abilities, be resourceful, able to manage your time effectively and prioritise your own workload.

The post will involve working with clinical pharmacist to deliver a high quality and effective medicines management service to our patients in bedded units and in the pharmacy dispensary to provide clinical screening and support the supply of medicines. You will also be travelling to community services to advise on medicines storage. This post will be based at Crawley Hospital and will involve some travel across Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.

Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
