Bluebird Care (Eastbourne and Wealden) are seeking a compliance and recruitment officer. This is a new and exciting role which requires someone with good care regulatory knowledge along with administratives skills and a good communicator to manage recruitment in a busy office with a award winning team.

We have have built an excellent reputation through the Eastbourne and Wealden districts. It helps us provide exceptional service and deliver quality care throughout the area. The business needs a dedicated quality and compliance person reporting to the registered manager and owner. On top of these duties you will also manage our care staff recruitment requirements with the help of the Administrator.

So, what else will this involve

You will maintain and set up new quality and compliance templates and processes, checking that all staff adhere to them, ensuring reporting and care practices in the field are maintained to the highest of standards, and report to the Registered Manager and owner. You will front any risk assessments and participate with the weekend on-call rota 1 in 5 weeks as required.

Qualification for this role

  • You must hold relevant adult social care qualifications NVQ3 or QCF L3
  • You must have a good understanding of the fundamental CQC care regulations which you need to demonstrate
  • You must have good knowledge of Word and Excel, and worked with email such as MS Outlook
  • Training will be provided on the Roster and care management systems
  • You will have the relevant experience in care sector in order to carry out risk assessments as required
  • Ideally you will have a driving licence although this is not mandatory;
  • You must be a good communicator and work well in a busy office environment
