Learning Disabilities Acute Liaison Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5/6 registered nurse to join the Learning Disabilities Health Facilitation team for a fixed term of 9 months to cover maternity leave. This role aims to improve the quality of care received by individuals with Learning Disabilities in the acute hospital setting and to help facilitate open and easy access for people to general hospital services. The post will provide liaison services for residents of West Sussex who access  East Surrey Hospital, and the local community hospitals.

At the interview the candidates will be asked to give a 5 minute presentation on " How the Acute Liaison nurse can support a person with Learning Disabilities through out their hospital journey

Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
