Green Cross Recruitment is seeking experienced Senior Care Assistants to provide outstanding care to our service users in Hastings, St Leonard's-On-Sea, Bexhill-On-Sea, Eastbourne, Polegate, Seaford, Lewes, Worthing and all surrounding areas.

What to expect from your role

As a Senior Carer you'll work in a similar way as a Care Assistant (HCA) but with additional responsibilities and the expectation of a deeper knowledge and understanding of the role to support your team.

Your responsibilities will include; personal care, helping with social activities, aiding with clinical needs and assisting with any other additional services that will enable our service users to live their daily lives as independently as possible.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, positive and ready for the occasional challenge.

Skills & Opportunities

Successful candidates will have the chance to improve their skills with a range of free training programmes. These include Basic Life Support, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Medication Administration, Dementia Care and more.

What do you need for this role?
  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 6 months' previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • Access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential
