Primary Lead Teacher

 

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

 

Flexible hours, based on individual learners’ needs

 

(Term Time Only)

 

We are recruiting an experienced and exceptional Primary Lead Teacher for St. John’s School in Seaford.

 

You will have detailed knowledge and understanding of pupils’ National Curriculum and other statutory requirements; to be able to demonstrate that knowledge and understanding and take account of wider curriculum developments, which are relevant to their work (including the school’s aims, objectives, policies and schemes of work).

This role will see you plan meetings effectively, identifying clear teaching objectives, lesson content and lesson structures and sequences to ensure that pupils have the opportunity to meet their fullest potential. You will set high expectations for support staff both in planning and implementation of learning and set well-grounded, realistic yet challenging expectations and targets, making effective use of information about pupils’ prior attainment

 

The role requires an individual, who is flexible, with strong emotional resilience and skills in reflective practice.
