Job Description

This position reports to the Customer Services Supervisor and is responsible for the end to end order taking process within Customer Services.  Our aim is to offer a premium order taking service, where our Customer Services Advisors build relationships with our customers, take orders in a polite and professional manner, offering advice and support with regards to the ordering of our product portfolio.  Second level support is required around the technical nature of our products is expected of our more experienced Advisors. 

Responsibilities

  • Taking in-bound calls from customers

  • Taking orders from customers

  • Answering any queries on orders/products

  • Pass and process orders

  • Process any faxes with orders

  • Process emails from customers

  • Deal with consignment stock eg invoicing for orders and stocking the consignment stock back up

  • Deal with e-shop orders and with any returns

  • Making outbound calls to customers and complaint handling

  • Liaise with logistics regarding any special requirements eg delivery address, kit detals etc.

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all compliance SOP’s and regulations – in particular relating to product failures (complaints) and our Human Tissue Authority licence requirements.

Education/ Professional Experience

  • Being able to demonstrate strong communication skills

  • Minimum of four years’ experience in customer service preferably in a medical/technical capacity

  • Good spoken communication manner and style

  • Adaptable and a quick learner

  • Energetic, straight-forward and performance-driven professional with entrepreneurial    spirit and strong execution abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and pro-activity to cultivate a network of productive customer           relations.

  • Ability to achieve results in a pragmatic way in a dynamic and innovative organisation
