Grove Lodge Vets was founded in 1958 and is part of a larger group; Independent Vet Care which was founded in 2011 and is now the largest vet group in Northern Europe.

Our mission is to be the leading veterinary hospital for first opinion and 24hr emergency care.

The role (in a nutshell)

You will work as part of a fast paced and friendly team responsible for being the first point of contact for clients. You will deal with a variety of enquiries and be responsible for converting enquiries to appointments wherever possible. You will check & maintain vaccine and patient details, ensuring invoices are correct and process payments for clients.

Please note: At a branch you may be required to assist the vet with euthanasia and management of cold storage.

Experience Required

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to show empathy
• Ability to cope in a highly emotional environment
• Previous experience in a customer service role in which you have dealt with face2face and telephone inquiries
• Attention to detail is essential
• Excellent IT skills with the ability to record data accurately
• Passionate about customer service and pets
• Knowledge of the Veterinary industry (desirable)
• Proven track record of effective team working
