Technical Support Engineer required to join our important and highly regarded international client based just outside of Brighton. Working in the Technical Support Department for this large manufacturing organisation you will be working as part of a team, providing support to a large client base through email, occasional site visits and on the telephone.

As well as providing day to day support, your role will involve exciting project work ranging from specifying suitable hardware during initial consultations through to implementation.

Your role will involve working closely with other departments including Sales, R&D and Production as well as speaking with clients and 3rd party suppliers, so excellent communication skills are key!

Ideal candidates will have the following:
- Experience of working within Technical Support
- Degree or equivalent in Electronics or related discipline
- Understanding and interest in Electronic Engineering
- Good planning and organisation skills
- Knowledge of Linux systems
- Knowledge of programming languages would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills

This role will involve occasional customer site visits including overseas and possible night work.
