Grove Lodge Vets was founded in 1958 and is part of a larger group; Independent Vet Care which was founded in 2011 and is now the largest vet group in Northern Europe.

Our mission is to be the leading veterinary hospital for first opinion and 24hr emergency care.

The role (in a nutshell)

You will work as part of support team checking incoming referrals. Register external referrals and deal with any urgent queries. You will call clients to book appointments and assist with insurance claim submissions.

Experience Required

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to show empathy
  • Ability to cope in a highly emotional environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service and administrative role
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to record data accurately
  • Passionate about customer service and pets
  • Knowledge of the Veterinary industry (desirable)
  • Proven track record of effective team working
