We  are currently looking for a Volunteer Trading Secretary(Home Based) for our Hove Branch.

Trading Secretary

Main Purpose of Role

To be part of the local Fundraising Branch, responsible for ordering and receiving trading goods in assosiation with Branch Manager, storing of goods and stock taking.

Main Tasks

• Receives Branch catalogue and orders trading goods by using order form, e-mail or phone
• Receives, checks and prices goods. If goods are going into shop they also have to be coded
• Stores goods in own home
• Keeps shop/Branch Events  supplied with goods – Branch Treasurer banks money from shop and leaves a printed list of what has been sold
• Stocktakes in January each year

• To work as part of a team with other volunteers and staff, and to make new people welcome
• To undertake your role to the highest standards and quality of service
