Introducing City College Brighton and Hove
With a central campus in Brighton's buzzing, fashionable North Laine area,City College Brighton and Hove offers a rich and enjoyable experience of student life in a vibrant community. Every year, around 12,000 local and international students choose City College as their next step into a career or onto University. The College offers over a thousand courses from Entry Level up to Foundation Degree level for all age groups from 14 upwards. Students can choose to study full or part-time courses or take up an apprenticeship with an employer. The College's City Business Skills department focuses on working with local employers to ensure that their staff gets the best training possible.
The College's vocational courses are career-focussed and provide hands-on industry training. With links to over 2,000 businesses, the College can ensure that its courses provide the industry-standard skills that employers need. After completing their College education, students have the option to progress onto City College's own Foundation Degree courses, onto Universities or into employment. Students work in well-equipped workshops and studios. Facilities include hair and beauty salons, professional catering kitchens and a public restaurant, music recording & performance studios and engineering & construction workshops.
