Sussex Community Foundation has been set up by local people to support local charities and community groups in Sussex. 

We make it easy for individuals and companies to donate to local causes, making sure funds go where they're needed and will make a difference. We provide a flexible vehicle through which you can support a variety of local projects.

Donations are used to fund community and voluntary organisations that are working to transform lives and make Sussex a great place to live. They are targeted at community groups in areas of greatest need. These are often smaller groups for whom a small amount of funding can make a big difference.

There are a number of different ways you can give through Sussex Community Foundation:

• Make a donation to one of our existing Funds – The Sussex Giving Fund supports a wide variety of organisations across Sussex, or alternatively you can support one of our themed or geographic Funds
• Give to a local group directly - through our partner website, www.localgiving.com
• Set up your own Named Fund – Individuals and companies who make larger donations can establish their own Named Fund
• Leave a Legacy - Including Sussex Community Foundation in your will is an ideal way to give something back to the local community

The Foundation is part of a national network of 58 Community Foundations that covers the UK and between them distributes £70 million a year to charities and groups.
