Supporting student aspirations
The University of Brighton ensures that every student has a career planning agreement in place, mapping out their future aspirations. This initiative, set up 10 years ago, ensures that each course offers its students encouragement and support in their career planning.
The university careers service has links with more than 1,800 employers of which around 500 regularly place vacancies with the university’s job shop, attend careers talks and careers fairs.

The University of Brighton has developed an entrepreneurial network, Beepurple, which helps our students and alumni to develop their own business ideas. The university has a track record for turning out employable graduates and entrepreneurs, and boasts more than 100 start ups a year.
