About the Role:

As the Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in delivering high–quality bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves using multiple bookkeeping software platforms, ensuring our clients receive accurate and timely financial information tailored to their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day–to–day bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Producing management accounts and offering insights into clients financial performance.
• Utilising various accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage, to streamline and enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to maintain high standards and strengthen client relationships.

What We re Looking For:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and management accounts preparation.
• Proficiency in multiple bookkeeping software packages (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client–focused approach.
• Detail–oriented and well–organised with the ability to work independently.
