Job Description:
Our client, a popular family leisure venue on the East Sussex coast, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cook to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food items in a fast–paced environment.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including deep fryers.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a cook in a fast–paced environment.
  • Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Food Hygiene Certificate/s.
  • Must be happy to work weekends during the seasonal peaks
Contract Options:
We offer two contract options:
  1. Seasonal Contract:
    • March to end of September each year (5 months off)
  2. Permanent Contract:
    • Year–round position with variable hours to accommodate seasonal fluctuations.
    • Consistent monthly income throughout the year.
Benefits:

  • End–of–season bonus of GBP1.00 per hour worked between March and September
  • Additional GBP1.50 per hour for unsociable hours
