Job Title: Cafe Assistant
About the Role:
Our client, a popular family leisure venue on the East Sussex coast, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cafe Assistant to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the overall success of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Preparing and serving food and beverages
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Taking on additional responsibilities, such as supervising the team, when required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast–paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and unsociable hours, especially during peak seasons
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn

2 x Contract Options:
We offer two contract options:
1. Seasonal Contract:

• March to end of October each year (4 months off)

2. Permanent Contract:

• Year–round position with variable hours to accommodate seasonal fluctuations.
• Consistent monthly income throughout the year.
• Jan/Feb 2025 start date

Salary/Hourly Rate:
Competitive and dependent upon experience
