The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity based in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex community that has been working with people with a Learning Disability and autistic people since 1898. Our mission is to work towards being led by people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people to deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities. Introduction to the role:
Are you passionate about empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live life to the fullest? We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and experienced leader to manage our Supported Living service at our Grace Eyre Choices Service. If you have a background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or related fields, and some experience managing teams or individuals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Brief outline of the role:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to empower individuals to live the lives they choose.
- Collaborate with the people we support to create personalised timetables so that reflect their passions and goals so they live fun and active lives.
- Support people to achieve their goals and aspirations in line with the Grace Eyre Charter.
- Cultivate a homely environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and happy.
- Foster a motivated, engaged, and well-supported team culture, helping staff thrive in their role
- Keep plans and goals relevant, up-to-date, and centered around the people we support
- Build strong relationships with families, caregivers, and external professionals to enhance the support provided.
- Completing supervisions with the team members
- Manage rotas to maintain safe and effective staffing levels in the service.
- Collaborate with the team and senior managers to continually improve the service and overcome different challenges that arise within the service
- Be part of the Out of Hours Duty Phone rota
