Job Details

Bring your previous experience of cleaning in an environment where high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation were required to our Eastbourne site where you will be responsible for cleaning specific areas of the site.

Working as part of a friendly team you will play a key role in ensuring a pleasant environment for staff and students. Previous experience of undertaking a full range of cleaning in a domestic or commercial environment is essential, as is the ability to follow instructions accurately to ensure cleaning is carried out effectively and the ability to work under limited supervision.

You will be required to wear protective clothing/uniform in line with our uniform policy

Hours for the post are to be worked from 05:30 to 09:30 on a Saturday only.  Please note, the hours will not be eligible for weekend enhancements

In return, the university offers a generous annual leave package, including time off over Christmas, and an attractive pension scheme.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships 

This is a grant-funded scheme which enables companies to access resources and expertise they need to innovate, grow and improve their performance.

KTP enables a highly skilled graduate, known as an Associate, to be employed by the university to work full-time in your company leading a strategic project, with the support of an academic team with expertise relating to the project.  

Projects last between 6 months and 3 years; up to 67% of the project costs are provided by the Technology Strategy Board or another government sponsor.
